Hello!!! My name is Chavela and I’m a 50 year old PrePA student attending online classes at South College. I decided to do a career change last year as a Medical Transcriptionist for 22 years at a Dermatopathology Lab in Dallas,Tx. My passion working in the medical field started n high school, but life changes altered me completing my degree in my younger years. LOL! After graduating as a PrePA student, my plans are to attend one of my top 3 choices PA schools. Working 2 jobs and attending school online has been a struggle, but I am so DETERMINED to accomplish my new career goal. See you as a Certified Physician Assistant in a few years. 😊
