About Mario: Mario Broussard II is a husband, father, and advocate. Mario holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Southern Adventist University as well as a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Howard University. Mario is President and Owner of Fresh Start Counseling LLC in which He provides Psychotherapy services to children and adults throughout the Maryland. Mario is an international speaker who has been privileged to speak throughout the United States, Africa, and the Caribbean on issues of faith, Race, Social Justice, and mental health. Mario was also the keynote speaker for The Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons on addressing Trauma in the Criminal Justice System. In 2020, Mario and wife Natasha Broussard started Ray of Hope and Love Inc. a non-profit that addresses racial disparities within the healthcare system after losing their newborn daughter in October of 2019. He is also A Producer and Co-host for “Lets Pray” on The Hope Channel Network International, an interactive program centered on building a worldwide community through prayer. Mario’s Hobbies include Reading, Playing Basketball, traveling, and spending time with His wife and four year old son Declan
